Summary
The Tales of Terramir campaign is set in Galatalon, a continent on the world of Terramir, in the year 1322 BSB – centuries after the Battle of Spell and Blade, which banished the gods beyond the Eternal Shield. The Domaarian Empire, a tyrannical autocracy led by Emperor Vladrin Myloncovich, outlaws arcane magic and enforces strict religious doctrine, sparking conflict across the land.
The adventure begins with the party awakening as prisoners in a Domaarian caravan. They escape and embark on a perilous journey across the empire’s territories, encountering resistance factions, powerful relics, and ancient mysteries. Along the way, they uncover a growing war between the empire and its neighbors. Their travels take them through cities, ruined temples, underground dwarven strongholds, and arcane sanctuaries, leading them to powerful allies and foes alike. They wrestle with political intrigue and forbidden magic, embroiled in a rebellion against the empire, uncovering secrets about their pasts – and deciding their own destinies.
The latest events have them traversing the treacherous Ember Rim Mountains within the dwarven Kingdom of Khorir on a mission to rescue one of their own before a growing threat – the resurgence of an ancient god – challenges the larger fate of Terramir.
