While traveling along the Imperial Road, escorting the jewelry merchant Garrett Lionmane to Oaktown, the crew of adventurers stopped and camped for the night under the stars and waxing white moon of Ria. Anton continued to have strange, bloodthirsty dreams and was awoken in a cold sweat with Sovemil announcing they were not alone.
The mysterious elf from the Crimson Knuckles' hideout as well as two bandits ambushed the party, leading to the warlock's surrender. With the bandits dead and the elf named Harren Bog surrounded, Willa dealt with the summoned imps from Gemma's wild magic, while the young sorceress rushed to Sovemil's side to revive him with a potion, saving his life.
The elf warlock revealed they'd gained their magic powers from an entity called the Hag Mother, striking a deal with a coven of hags to sow chaos in the region, so the Hag Mother could receive more power. Furthermore, Harren was discovered to hold a map to their supposed lair.
Tying them up as a prisoner and deciding to turn them into authorities, the group continued their trek north, eventually reaching the famous Sunpost Farm and Inn, a popular tourist stopping point along the Imperial Road. A large property known for its breeding of fine horses, the group decided to turn in Harren Bog to an imperial guard there and rest at the inn for the night.
Garrett made reservations for the companions at the pretentious Divine Flavors Restaurant for the evening, and after checking out the Sunpost Gift Shop, they all entered the lodge for an evening of exquisite cuisine. While being served with fine dining, however, Anton unexpectedly jolted and began to transform into a monstrous wereboar!
